Sat. 14 May, 2016

Fidalgo Shoreline Academy (Sat. 14 May, 2016 9:00 am - 3:30 pm)

This year the Academy is pleased to have well known photographer and environmentalist Chris Jordan as our Keynote Speaker. Chris' work includes documenting the tragedies of Midway Island's starving albatrosses who mistake our floating plastic for food. Chris’ powerful photographic artworks tell a story using data and common objects to create amazing images.

Following the keynote, choose from a variety of interesting programs and interpretive walks on the Salish Sea marine environment and culture. Teachers - free continuing education clock hours will be available.

Registration opens March 14th.
